From writer/director Helen Haig-Brown, The Cave is based on a story told by her great uncle Henry Solomon. Set in 1961, a Chilcotin hunter (Edmund Lulua) rides on horseback through the Chilcotin territory of British Columbia in western Canada. This 12-minute short film is shot in the Tsilhquot’in language. The Cave produced by Rugged Media was officially selected by the Sundance Film Festival, Berlin International Film Festival, and named as one of Canada's Top Ten (Short Film) by the Toronto International Film Festival.
