Michelle Good is a lawyer, activist, and novelist. In this Red Talk, she discusses Truth Telling: Seven Conversations about Indigenous life in Canada, a bold examination of Indigenous resistance, reconciliation, and resurgence. Her debut novel, Five Little Indians, won the Governor General’s Literary Award, the HarperCollins/UBC Best New Fiction Prize, the Amazon First Novel Award, and Canada Reads 2022, among many other accolades. Michelle is a member of the Red Pheasant Cree Nation in Saskatchewan.
